Meet Peter.

I moved to Hudson in 2002 as a young man.

I opened a shop on Warren Street. I built my business.
Hudson was a place of possibility for me.

When I became a father, I began advocating—for safer streets, for a crosswalk the city wouldn’t paint, and for an updated Comprehensive Plan for the city.

In 2018, I brought together local planners and designers to organize FUTURE HUDSON—an event series about small cities like ours solving big problems: housing, walkability, public space, and more.

I have focused on civic engagement because I believe in the power of listening - of what happens when people hear each other.

For over 20 years, I have helped organizations understand the people they serve through in person interviews and workshops.

We need to make more strong spaces for listening and a shared understanding to happen.

I am eternally grateful to Hudson. I turned my life around here. I'm very aware of how lucky I am.

I am also aware that the Hudson of 2025 is not a place of possibility, like it was.

It is harder than ever to call Hudson home, and we are very close to losing what makes Hudson special.

I am running for Mayor to finish the work I started with FUTURE HUDSON.

Together, we can bring possibility back to Hudson.

Peter
